Sam and Flint free fall down the hole, unaware of Brent.
샘과 플린트는 브렌트를 의식하지 못한 채 구멍 속으로 떨어진다.
SAM: (yelling) As long as we stay on course, it should be a straight shot to the ...
샘: (고함지르며) 우리의 계획대로 간다면, 우리가 계속 떨어져서 도착하는 곳은...
Brent slams into them and takes them off course.
브렌트가 그들에게 세게 부딪치고 그들은 원래 계획했던 길에서 이탈한다.
71. INT. FOOD ASTEROID. FOOD TUNNEL. DAY
Flint, Sam and Brent tumble into a pitch black tunnel.

플린트, 샘 그리고 브렌트는 검은 동굴로 굴러 떨어진다.
ALL: Ooof!
BRENT: We’re a team!
모두: 우웁!
브렌트: 우린 한 팀이야!
Flint makes a torch from a marshmallow and a shrimp skewer, and lights it on a flaming cherries jubilee. It illuminates the scary walls of a tunnel made of congealed food.
플린트는 마쉬멜로우와 새우꼬챙이로 횃불을 만들어 타는듯한 체리 쥬빌리에 불을 붙이니 굳어진 음식으로 만들어진 무서운 터널 벽이 비친다.
FLINT: Whoa.
SAM: (points to map) We’ve landed here in some kind of exhaust vent. But if we go this way, the FLDSMDFR should be right down this air shaft. Brent, get out of that pie.
플린트: 워.
샘: (지도를 가리키며) 우린 배기가스 배출구 같은 곳에 상륙했어요. 하지만 우리가 이 길로 간다면, FLDSMDFR가 이 환기구멍 끝에 있을 거예요. 브렌트 파이에서 떨어져요.
Brent is eating a pie in the wall.
브렌트는 벽에서 파이를 먹고 있다,
BRENT: What’s up?
브렌트: 뭔 일 있어?
73. INT. SCARY FOOD CAVE. A MOMENT LATER
Flint, Sam and Brent face a huge cavern which has a river of boiling hot oil running through it. They have to get to the other side.
73. 내부. 무서운 음식 동굴. 잠시 후
플린트, 샘 그리고 브렌트는 끓는 기름이 흐르는 강이 있는 거대한 동굴을 마주한다.
그들은 건너편으로 가야 한다.
FLINT: That’s fry oil.
플린트: 저건 튀기는 기름이야.
FLINT: (into phone) Dad! Uh, okay, great. On the screen there’s a file marked ‘kill code.’
TIM: Wha ...?
FLINT: Move that into my e-mail window, type in my name and press ‘SEND.’
TIM: (baffled) Window?
FLINT: Okay, dad. You see the thing that looks like a little piece of paper?
TIM: What?
FLINT: Use the mouse to drag it.
TIM: Drag it?
플린트: (전화받는다) 아빠! 어, 좋아요, 훌륭해요. 컴퓨터 스크린에 ‘정지코드’라는 파일이 하나 있어요.
팀: 뭐...?
플린트: 그 파일을 제 이메일 창으로 옮기고요, 제 이름을 친 다음에 ‘보내기’를 누르세요.
팀: (당황하며) 창?
플린트: 자, 아빠. 작은 종잇조각같이 생긴 것 보이죠?
팀: 뭐?
플린트: 마우스를 사용해서 그걸 드래그하세요.
팀: 그걸 끌라고?

해설
플린트와 팀 사이에 지구의 운명을 건 컴퓨터 렛슨이 시작된다. 플린트는 “Okay, dad. You see the thing that looks like a little piece of paper?”라고 파일을 설명한 후 “Use the mouse to drag it.”라고 부탁한다. 팀은 “Drag it?”이라고 재차 묻는데, 불안하다. 요즘에는 노인들도 컴퓨터를 할 수 있어야 젊은 세대와 커뮤니케이션이 가능한데, 파일을 다루는 기본적인 단어인 copy, paste, delete 같은 단어를 모르면 힘들다. 윈도우 사용 언어를 영어로 바꾸고 검색엔진도 구글을 사용하면 컴퓨터 영어에 익숙해 질 수 있다.
