[The King's Speech] I¡¯m great with people

Àü »ç¶÷À» Àß ´Ù·ï¿ä

This film is based on a true story.
ÀÌ ¿µÈ´Â ½ÇÈÀÔ´Ï´Ù.

A successful-looking doctor sits behind a desk in a well-appointed office. He¡¯s looking at someone off-camera.

DR. JAFFE: Uhm. You have no actual medical training?
ERIN: No. I have kids. I learned a lot right there. Yeah. I mean I¡¯ve seen nurses give my son throat cultures and ¡¦what is it? You stick a giant Q-tip down their throat and wait. Or a urinalysis where you take that dipstick to see whether or not the white count¡¯s high.
DR. JAFFE: Yes, I understand.

ERIN: And I¡¯m great with people. Of course, you¡¯d have to observe me to know for sure, but you can trust me on that. Yeah. I¡¯m an extremely fast learner. You show me something in a lab once, and I¡¯ve got it down. But you see, I had always wanted to go to medical school. That was my first interest really but then I got married and had a kid too young and that but ¡¦ kind of blew it for me. When I was first out of high school I got a job with Fleuer Engineers and Constructors in Irvine. I fell madly in love with geology.
DR. JAFFE: Geology?
ERIN: Yeah. I learned how to read maps. I love maps. Yeah but I lost my job because my boy came down chicken pox had one hundred and four temperature and my ex-husband was useless, so that didn¡¯t really work out.
DR. JAFFE: Uh-huh.
