Lionel steps towards as footmen close the doors. They walk towards and a footman pushes open the secret door.
(Bertie¡¯s P.O.V.) Through the doorway to reveal technicians standing by the equipment. A tumble of cables stretch through the rooms. Bertie stops, stares, walks towards. Elizabeth and Lionel follow. The technicians turn, bow their heads as he passes. At the door to the broadcasting booth he is met by the BBC¡¯s Wood.

Bertie, Elizabeth, Lionel walk in. As a podium for the speech an old school desk has been propped on wooden blocks. The dreaded BBC microphone.
³»ºÎ. ¹öÅ·¾ö±ÃÀü, ¹æ¼Û½Ç­³·
¹öƼ, ¿¤¸®ÀÚº£½º, ¶óÀ̳ÎÀÌ °É¾î µé¾î¿Â´Ù. ¿¬¼³À» À§ÇÑ ¿¬´ÜÀ¸·Î ³°Àº Çб³ Ã¥»óÀÌ ³ª¹«°¢Àç À§¿¡ ¿Ã·ÁÁ® ÀÖ´Ù. °¡°øÇÒ BBC ¸¶ÀÌÅ©°¡ ÀÖ´Ù.
 
BERTIE: You¡¯ve redecorated, Logue.
LIONEL: I made it cosy.

Bertie turns, steps to the desk ­ Lionel turns, slides open the window to get the air circulating.

Elizabeth helps Bertie off with his jacket.

Bertie stares at the microphone, takes deep breath. He spreads the fingers of one hand, touches the apparatus with the little finger, thumb to chin.

BERTIE: I¡¯m a thistle sifter. I¡¯ve a sieve of sifted thistles and a sieve of unsifted thistles.

He is practicing his speech exercises, closes his eyes

Bertie holds his hand between his chin and the microphone. Elizabeth enters from behind him. Her hand on his shoulder.

LIONEL: Remember the red light will blink four times then I¡¯ve asked them to turn it off. Cos we don¡¯t want that evil eye staring at you all the way through.

Bertie nods, looks down. Lionel and Bertie stand at either side of the desk. Elizabeth behind, a strained countenance
